~Carrie's POV~
The alarm clock rang,I quickly pressed the snooze button and went back to a deep sleep. Then BAM! My sister Ryan bursted into my room without permission.
Ryan: Oh sissy?
Me: Don't call me sissy!
Ryan: Whatever. It's time for school!
She went downstairs and waited for me. How could I forget today was school and I would go shopping for a mirror!??!? I've been begging mom for one and even did a PowerPoint over it. I quickly got dressed into my blue jeans,red long-sleeved shirt,a pink hoodie,and flats. I placed my hair in an half up,half down position,grabbed my backpack,and headed out my bedroom.
Mom: Why are you dressed so early?
Me: It's time for school!
Mom: It's Saturday.
I saw my sister sticking out her tongue at me. I did the same and chased her around the table.
Ryan: You can't catch this!
Me: Oh shut up!
Mom calmed us down and my face turned red.
Mom: Carrie Louise Tyler,you know better! Don't do that again.
Me: Yes,mom!
Mom: We'll go to the antique store to buy your mirror,if you don't mind.
Me: I don't mind at all,I'm not that girl who wants a mirror to be from a cool store,I'm that girl who just needs a mirror from somewhere!
Ryan: Nerd!
Mom: Ryan!
She quickly got quiet. Thank goodness. I heard the doorbell and I rushed to get it. There standing in front of me were Lily and Lucy,my friends.
Lily: Hey!
Lucy: What's up?
Me: Not much. What's with the get up Lucy?
Lucy: it's from my volunteer work with The police. I slept in it last night because I came home late.
Me: Okay,Lily,since when did you wear skirts?
I never seen her wear skirts,EVER. She wears shorts and jeans,but never skirts!
Lily: It was a dare that my brother made with me. You know how I feel about dares.
Me: yeah.
We went up to my room and discussed everything. Today will just be a regular day.
